Hunter McClung’s roots run deeply in Rockbridge County.
He is a native of the area and was born and raised on a
livestock farm on the Maury River. He earned his BS degree, with an emphasis in business administration, from Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado. In addition to Hunter’s life experiences in farming and his respect for land and nature, he has had eight years of professional real estate experience.
He was a Fee Appraiser and worked in Real Estate Assessment prior to becoming a sales associate with James Wm. Moore Real Estate Company.

Hunter lives with his wife Bridget and their son Bret on a farm in the county where they raise horses and cattle. Hunter is an avid horseman and for several years was a ranch manager in Colorado. He is a member of R. E. Lee Episcopal Church and of the Brownsburg Ruritan Club.
